Hello forum. The best I can do is $500 USD shipped because that’s what they go for in Facebook groups and eBay from what I understand. I don’t know how a thumbs down got in there but I love autocockers and have bought and sold 3 of them so far and I have found a good home for all my markers so far. One thing I will give you is that if I had the cash I’d hoard like 50 of these puppies and wait ten years down the line.

There are more modern options people can get that run smoother for $200 - $300. If someone wants a cool old autococker then old right feeds are a plenty for 150-200. There is more supply than demand (at least until they all get chopped up), people would rather buy a 2000-2005 autococker for $200-$400. Or a really nice rarish one for $500-$800; sometimes more. It’s just a common marker with common parts that’s 30 years old. I agree, from a material, function, coolness factor, and you put time into it; should be worth $200-$500 in our minds and it isn’t. Glws.

The parts that are slapped on matter. I got a rf for $440 recently that came with a ccm thin 45 frame and ccm pump kit (those parts to me were worth the $450). I got another for $180 with a single frame slide kit and ccm kit. I sold the body, bolt, internals, and detent for $50. The right feeds body’s on parts seem to subtract $50 from the value; it’s weird. Good news is you can stack 50 of em for cheap if you want. If you watch the site they will go for cheap with some cadence on here.

please post us screenshots of the autocockers youve seen on facebook and ebay for $500 so we can understand what youre looking at.
Just because someone posts that price doesnt mean someone will pay that much. Most of the listings on ebay are waaaaaay overpriced because the sellers have no idea what the true value is.
buying and holding, you might have missed the boat there too.
the golden age of buying and hoarding valuable autococker stuff has came and went.
in this hobby, if you want something thats going to appreciate in value over time you have to hoard gear for years. everyone wants to get rich in 5 minutes without lifting a finger. everyone wants to be the lucky genius who gets to say "i KNEW these would be gold oneday!"
but what really happens? we spend a little here and there until we have a huge pile thats objectively worthless. after many years, hypebeasts on facebook or a niche, fanatic contacts us about some old, obscure piece or part we may or may not have.
we sell that part for 10x what we paid, but it doesnt offset all the money we spent on everything else, which is still, for the most part, relatively worthless.
no one can predict what will be in demand in the future but you cant take any of it to the grave! Hoard cheap lots and be realistic. no one gets rich flipping autocockers. paintballers almost always take a loss when they go to sell their stuff

You could buy a Honda Civic for $3k and put $17k worth of modifications into it. Turbos, engine swap, suspension, tires, ecu, transmission, "ceramic" brakes. Now, at the drag strip, you are faster than a Lamborghini.
You want to sell your civic and make a profit because its a good car that you put time and money into and its worth it (in your opinion)
The problem is that there are many other people before you who had the same idea. There are thousands of built and modified cheap civics. The $20k that you spent got you a nice, fast car. But no one will pay you $60k just because its faster than a $100k car in a straight line. The $100k Lambo looks cooler, drives smoother and they only made 100 of them, so its very rare and exclusive. Both cars will get you from point A to point B, but much more effort and special technique went into the creation of the Lambo.
You get many offers for $10k, $6k and its very frustrating because you spent more than that and you did a good job putting the car together. Yours is even more rare because no one used the exact same combination of parts you put on yours! its a
one of one! You drive yourself crazy looking at used Lambo prices. They are selling for much more than they cost to buy new. So, same for my civic, right?
But the reality is that when it comes to common cars like the Civic, they are cheap to begin with and cheap to make fast. If you can do it for that price, why cant i? why would i pay you 3x what it would cost me to do the same thing? by the way, i dont like the steering wheel or the paintjob, so if i buy if from you, im going to be spending money changing those things. so now i dont want to pay you for parts and decisions you made because i think my way is better. Lambo and Civic. They are both cars, but vastly different. your rightfeed and an AkA Merlin. Both autocockers, vastly different.
if you want to see why the $600 autocockers are worth that much, you need to find someone with a SFL or Inception and get them to let you shoot it.
Your civic will never be a Lamborghini , the value we put on our things is hardly ever the same as their worth to others. It is not a personal attack on you, but if the whole reason you spent more than $150 putting your gun together was just to make a profit selling it, you made a bad business decision. The only way youll make money is by taking advantage of someone else who also doesnt know better.

you know how to get your moneys worth out of stuff like this? take it out and have as much fun with it as you can.

Lower end parts built on a right feed. It may shoot great but it’s not something people are going to pay 500 for.

That’s a $250 - $200 marker at best.

Fixed LPR, basic non rebuildable ram. Right feed body’s are less desirable, barrel is large bore fit todays paint, frame is likely off a lighting it’s not a Dye frame like you are seeing sell for higher prices. It all doesn’t match as well. It’s a parts build with basic parts. Cocker prices are down on top of that.
