I just picked up a metal set in the last month on here and put them on a Nova. Not likely a use case that many will have, but they worked. I think the #1 use for these were Phantoms, but don't take my word for it.

Are the metal ones Pro-Line by chance?

No clue who made them..

Only wondering because the old Pro-Line blocks require an angled ASA to keep the tank flat horizontal. A standard ASA on them angles the tank up.
