Nelspot 007

SOLD Nelspot 007 with rear aluminum drop out valve. Holds air, shoots good. Cleaned and lubed, replaced the rear frame screw. Feed is setup for 12 + 1 or you can run it as a cram and jam.

Shot a slow string at about 50 degrees this morning. Crosman CO2 bulb, small bore Midnight paint from the Sports Authority that closed two years ago, no roll outs (bless these old tight bore Nelspots!). 1st @ 272, 21st @ 261, 31st @ 249, 37st at 195, vented @ 44. Petty sweet for an old hand cannon.

I'll toss in 5 tubes in case anyone doesn't have any as they sample classic MCB fodder.

Since I've been asked, I might as well post it here. The CO2 changer is a one piece drop out with knurling on the rear quarter of the body. You turn the whole body of the changer about 1.5 turns and the bulb can fall out. I'm guessing the idea was to cut down on time and remove the risk of cross threading if the unit was fully removed and replaced under stress.

Think of a bucket changer with the side cut out. They work surprisingly well.
