This thing feels very sturdy, and was cycling for me (one time, another time it was sputtering) recently with a different reg. This reg needs rebuilt. The eyes work, the buttons are a little touchy, it seems like I have to poke them just right to get them to do anything.

Comes with everything pictured. Some of it might go with the gun, some of it might not I don’t know. The OTP/Java barrel weighs about 65 pounds. The valve, bolt, and feedneck look upgraded based on my vast knowledge of this sort of equipment and the fact that there are extras that look like they’d fit.

The bolt is a Shocktech Superfly bolts and that valve is a maddman rocket valve.

Nice upgrades for a Piranha.

Oh yeah, I remember this valve now. I had one in a different spyder recently, you might have actually bought that one lol

I’m surprised Piranha Evos weren’t more popular when they were released. Reliable, decent price, eyes, handsome color and milling, simple to use, etc…

The SP Ion must have clobbered their sales or something.

It does feel really solid. An ion would definitely be lighter, but this feels well made.

I think the big issue was "Sear Tripper" had such a bad name at that point due to all the garbage ones that hit the market. The Evo was always a fantastic shooter though. I have had several and all were very reliable.

What's the trigger like on these? I had an older gen Piranha with an egrip and the switch felt terrible.

It’s definitely lighter than a spyder imagine. That’s basically all I can compare to, almost a “softer” feeling click

That looks like a “boss paintball” trigger
