My first self purchased marker was the green xtra but it was the gen 1 version with the macro line that always leaked. I notice now that every xtra I see has the hard line..... come to think of it I’ve never seen another xtra with a macro line.... ponderous.

Yeah I think these were early 2000's with the braided ss. My light blue I got in 03 or 04 had the braided line like this one

Hey that's a great point! I got mine in 2001 and it came with the macro. I didn't really have any leaking issues though, must be one of the lucky ones.
