Very nice. That is an ideal candidate for an Autokicker build.

The Compact A was a little different than the others. Front block attached with a bolt on either side of the lower tube (rather than one bolt from the bottom up). The grip also has a small loop at the bottom.

Either way, this thing is old-old. Wide feedneck and brass lined(?) teardrop barrel along with the hinged trigger puts this thing in og territory.

That's super cool. School me, what makes this compact is the V/A right? It's still a fatty striker?

The vertical air block and no bottom line.

The two screws make it more robust to hang a tank on

It can be difficult finding a 2 hole front block that will take a LPC. It's common to see these bodies with a single hole drilled on the underside to fit the 1 hole front blocks.

The Compacts have the ability to mount the tank vertically, with the addition of the front block.

Yes, these are fatty strikers. Any OG grey or black Spyder body without rings around the body where the barrel threads in will be a fatty striker.
