For the eventual buyer (although I'm tempted) - these have very little volume up front, so about 450psi is the minimum it should run at, even with the new valve (which, yes, does flow better, but is mostly a durability thing). For some reason I haven't yet tried porting the VA and using a reg with a tall top to see how much change it creates, nor have I tried "hourglassing" or boring the valve adjuster (which consumes a lot of space up front).

I'm actually thinking of making an LPC for mine now. It's right there... and my lathe is just behind that door... please hold.
