    64 Pontiac Star Chief (Bonneville)

Looking to sell my project 64 Starcheif. Unfortunately I moved and the current house does not have a garage so I have lost interest in continuing getting this going.

It's in deer park NY (long island) wrapped up and covered so these are old photos but nothing has changed except for a battery and new alternator.

    The good....

    - motor was built up by socal speed in the late 60's (I have the paperwork) granted not sure what all was done.... It has racing cams of some kind but the slip only says that. Other than that Edelbrock four barrel carb, M/T valve covers, ESD ignition system..... I've not dug to much deeper than that..... There's also a secondary tranny cooler radiator.

    - not much rust granted it has been sitting a while but it's definitely not swiss cheese... It was a west coast car up until the late 90's when it ended up in Jersey.... I bought it 7 years ago and tinkered off and on.

    - there's a Kenwood cd deck installed in the glove box and has decent speakers through out.... Older early 2000's fair but quite usable.

    - interior is great aside from no headliner, and some cracks in the acrylic steering wheel.

    - I have a bunch of random parts to go with it.... Milkcrate full.

    - painted satin black....not primer

    - I have a crap ton of build paperwork, scta time slips and neat stuff with it.

    The bad.....

    - previous owner rattle canned the rear spears as wheels metal flake blue.

    - tires on it need to go....sketchy bias plus

    - the gasket on the shifter post of the transmission is leaking if you park on a slant.

    - will need to be gone through prior to driving as it's been sitting but started frequently.

    - trunk has no interior.

    - trim removed but I still have.

    - it isn't original enough to be your dream car from American graffiti.

Hit me up if your local I can un-mummy it for you to check out

I'm open on trades but would prefer smaller, road ready and much later era cars from the late 70's to late 80's. Malibu wagon perhaps? Maybe a Fiero? That can be discussed.... Maybe even non car trades. For the paintball centric folks...... I'm open we can discuss.

Otherwise $2500 obo, I'll include a beer or two on me if your of age ha!

Neat! Have you put it up for sale on any Mopar websites?

It's a cools car. If I wasn't $2400 short and so far away, I would consider it. I could park it in my garage and put my MG Midget in the trunk. 😁 At that price throw it on Craigslist or autotrader to see if someone will get it.

It's been up for a while.... Unfortunately locally it's not original enough to be a boomer dream project and has to many doors to be wanted

Yeah losing 2 doors would help. Good luck!
