KEF LS50 Meta Bookshelf Speakers - Black Edition

    LS50 Bookshelf Soeakers (pair)

    Limited Edition: Black Edition

    All black matte

Condition: Used/ Mint, never overdriven, phenomenal

2 speakers are included in this listing.

Celebrating five years no since they were first revealed, the LS50 Black Edition speakers use the same Uni-Q driver array (but in black), set in a matt black cabinet coated with metallic powder. Even the chrome plated terminals are now black to match.

Each pair of speakers also boasts matching black trim rings and comes with its own diamond cut deco plaque and unique laser-etched serial number.

Given the internals mirror those of the standard, multi-Award-winning LS50s and pricing has remained the same, we doubt the audio performance will leave you disappointed.

    $1100 + $100 shipping

    Thanks for visiting

On the subject of bookshelf speakers, I purchased a pair of Ascend Acoustics Sierra-LX earlier this year and they’ve been lovely. It was between those and KEF R3 and I’m glad I made the choice I did. Good luck selling your speakers!

While we’re here, what’s your setup driving your speakers?

I’ve not heard any Ascend in person but I’ve heard great things.

I’ve come to the realization that I love hard cone designs like the KEF (aluminum cones.) The mids and highs are crisp and clear and they have a ton of stage for such small speakers. The only reason I’m selling these is because I have 5 LS 50’s in surround sound for a music/ home theater setup, but now they’re relegated to a music only 2 channel setup. So I’m selling the rest. I absolutely love these speakers!

To be honest, they don’t even need a preamp processor and amp — the Denon AVR’s amp does a fine job driving them. But I do have a Marantz Amp10 and the Av7702. But I think that for my purposes it’s overkill. I don’t have tall ceilings anymore, and we don’t really listen to anything that loudly anyway, not even when hosting.

Edit: it’s worth noting that these are marked up though since they are the highly sought after Black Editions. But if you dont care about the all black color scheme, you can actually get the (non wireless) pair new for around $1100-1200

        Thanks, brother.
