This is a custom built 5” FPV drone, built and tuned by me.
Here are the parts used:
- Lumenier QAV-S Carbon fiber 5” frame
- T-Motor 50A ESC
- Runcam Phoenix 2 analog Fpv camera
- XING 2207, 2450kv motors
- T-Motor Pacer F7 flight controller
- AKK Race Ranger 1600mw long range video transmitter
- Generic RHCP 5.8GHz video antenna
- Radiomaster RP1 ELRS receiver
- GemFan 5043 props
- FPV Crate Lume skids (but LEDs not installed)
- 4x GOLDBAT 4S 1500mAh 100C 14.8V LiPo batteries (storage voltage)
I hand built and soldered from scratch. Custom designed and printed GPS tray (the FC is wired for the GPS module, but no GPS included). All components hand picked for this specific set up, and there’s over $450 worth of stuff invested. All original boxes for the motors, FC, ESC, frame, etc will be included.
Tuned with a mild freestyle SupaFly tune in Betaflight. I do have it currently setup with the pitch inverted (forward on the stick = pitch backwards. It’s just how I prefer to fly. Easy to revert in Betaflight).
I get about 7 minutes per battery with this setup and with the vtx cranked to 1600mW. It flys great, super smooth! Very powerful if you want it to be, but also smooth and cinematic if you prefer to fly that way. I’ve put a GoPro on it and got some really neat HD footage.
