Selling my ASUS VivoBook S14 (model K3402ZA). 14" 2.8K OLED, 12th gen i7,
thin and fast. I put Linux on it a while back and just haven't used it enough
to justify keeping it. Freshly wiped and reinstalled - it powers on to a
first-time setup screen where you create your own account, exactly like a new
laptop out of the box.
SPECS
- 14" 2.8K OLED display (2880x1800, 90Hz) - deep blacks, extremely sharp
- Intel Core i7-12700H - 14 cores / 20 threads, up to 4.7GHz
- 16GB RAM
- 512GB NVMe SSD
- Intel Iris Xe graphics
- Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth
- Backlit keyboard with ASUS NumberPad (LED number pad built into trackpad)
- Intel Evo certified, Pantone Validated display
- USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, headphone jack
- No Ethernet port (cheap USB adapter adds one)
CONDITION
Very good overall, but two things I want stated up front:
1. NO CHARGER INCLUDED. It charges over USB-C, so any standard 65W USB-C
laptop charger works ($20-25 online, and you may already have one).
2. Small dent and a few light scratches on the top lid (pictured). Purely
cosmetic - does not affect the screen or function at all.
Everything else is excellent. No cracks, no dead pixels, no screen burn-in.
Fully tested before packing: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, speakers, headphone
jack, all USB ports, HDMI, every key, trackpad.
BATTERY
Holds about 74% of original factory capacity - normal and healthy for a
laptop this age. Charges fully to 100%.
OPERATING SYSTEM
Runs Linux Mint, not Windows. Freshly installed and ready to use. Mint looks
and works a lot like Windows and is great for browsing, email, schoolwork,
streaming, and office work.
If you want Windows: the original Windows 11 license from the factory lives
permanently in this laptop's firmware. You can install Windows 11 free from a
USB stick and it activates automatically - no product key to buy, nothing to
type in. Takes about an hour.
PRICE
$300 shipped CONUS, PayPal G&S (fees on me).
If you send a PM send me your email, my account is still too new to reply.
