    PPS Nasty Pistol

I realize this is a long shot, but before I have one custom made, I was told to try my luck on these forums.
I believe they were called “Short n’ Nasty” when they were originally made. I realize the bore size of the originals is probably going to be very large, but probably still a cheaper option than having built new. let me know what’s out there please!

    thank you!

Well ill probably regret this forever but i need to simplify and this just doesnt get used. My home field doesnt allow two shots with 1 trigger pull. I got this from Legato after begging him to sell to me. serial number ppd186 two 4 inch barrels wood pump and grips by MaD customs .690 barrels with wedgits Two 8 ball phantom

One was for sale not too long ago, you may try PMing one of these guys to see if they would part with it.

Appreciate the lead. I’ll shoot out a few messages and see if anyone has buyer’s remorse. Thank you!

I have a feeling I’m going to end up having to have one built. I sent an email asking about the different 12g options, waiting to hear back. Hoping something comes up in the meantime.

I have the Short and Nasty in your picture. As Ecap mentions, they are as rare as hens teeth. I know of only two 4" barreled Nasty pistols produced by Palmers. Mine (originally commissioned by Legato I think), and the original one Craig Palmer made that RamboPreacher bought from him. Here is a link to his write up and pictures:

Funny the timing on your post. I was just messaging with RP last week to see if he still had his and if he would sell it to me! Unfortunately, he says he thinks he GAVE AWAY his S n N to be used as a fundraiser for a new paintball field, but couldn't remember the details/person, and had no leads for me to follow. I am still in the hunt...so I guess we are competitors LOL. Owning both hand cannons would be both epic and absurd...right up my alley, but if you find it first...then good for you.

As to whether I would sell mine...I will respond to your PM. It is one of my "bury with me" markers that I take every time I play (the look on peoples faces when they shoot it is hilarious), so the odds are against you...but hey, anything's possible. At the very least, I can give you some insight on what I like, or would change, if commissioning a new build, so if you do order one, you have some info going in.

Here are a couple of views of mine before the custom wood pump was added. The current fat wood pump REALLY makes it much more manageable and comfy. I couldn't imagine trying to pump it with the original pump handle.

Since the OP asked for some additional pictures to use in communicating with Palmers, I figured I would just share my album here in case others that stumble upon this thread are interested.

Also includes a sub folder of me using it at Bacci Mountain this summer. 12 grams were required, so I thought what the hell, I will try with my ICD lever changer stock. Needless to say, 12 grams and a 4” double barrel don’t make for a good time. I got 3-5 shots off a 12 gram.
I recommend you accept the fact that it will need a small co2 bottle in your design discussions with Craig.
Myself, I run. “Micro” 2.5 oz bottle off the back. It is “ok”…but I would prefer more compact and “pistol” like.
Vertical just in front of the trigger guard would be best, and a pump handle could be designed around it, but actually being able to get enough of your hand around the handle for the entire stroke would be very difficult.
My plan is to have Doc make me a frame that takes a bottom line ASA so I can run it forward Hawaiian Style.
Another idea is a 45 degree adapter off the current back bottle valve, so the tank is angled down, parallel to the grip
