Really not wanting a hot one to the nuts...

So I am Looking for some size Large pants that have really good Crotch protection.

I keep hearing the old school pants have the best protection in the crotch area...

So that is what I am looking for Some old school pants with some serious crotch protection

Old diablo pants have a big triangular patch in the crotch. I have a pair but the ankle elastic is gone.

Agreed. Athletic cups have come a long way, they are far more comfortable than they used to be. That said, the later model DBD pants have decent dingle protections, as do the old JT pants.

I never had issues with a good pair of tactical pants like a 5.11 or military surplus pants. The heavy material stops a good shot to the skin chandeliers.

I agree with Chuck. I’ve taken a shot or two to the boys and my BDU’s saved me. Once with them relatively “slack” while I was waddling downfield. Wasn’t exactly fun (scared the hell out of me more than anything), but I was able to jog off the field and play the rest of the day with no issue.

I did pick up some Exalt sliders that protect the beanbag though. I wear those for bigger games (Ion) when I’m more likely to get overshot….haven’t been unlucky enough to see how they work yet though.
