“DROZD BLACKBIRD OR BLACKBIRD MAGAZINE” You mean the 12g holder that holds three 12g at a time? I have one modified for paintball use. It’s the Drozd 3x 12g adapter tapped into a an ASA plug. Acts as a lil disposable Co2 tank. Really nice for outlaw play. My phantom gets 120+ shots off it. Charges all three 12g at the same time. These are super hard to find. Only way your getting one today is used. Won’t be more made or imported its Russian made. For the right offer or trade I might let it go.

BlackBird uses an auger not a magazine. I have a stock auger from mine I upgraded mine to magnetic so it would keep with the RPM of the Lipo/Board/barrel and HP Air mod on mine. But I’m assuming you want the 12g adapter. Since it’s really the only part that works for paintball.

Hey there, thanks for responding to my ad and offer. Cool rig you got there using the 3x co2 adapter. I actually already have 3 brand new ones. So I have no need for another and will never use them as I run HPA on my birds. Which is really the only way to effectively run these birds at the rates I run them at. You are correct the "hopper" / magazine (thrush as the ruskies call them) indeed uses an auger to feed the bb's into battery. I too also have the solid magnetic auger. I just use the term magazine loosely to describe the auger fed hopper. I also have a 4K Superbird with Sergey's board, and a host of other upgrades to maximize its' performance (see image). I'm currently in the process of another build we are dubbing it as an "Ultra" Superbird that will easily double + the shooting rate of my 4K. This build is going to need a bunch of upgrades and modifications to be able to function at these rpm's. Such as installing a heat sink on the board, higher voltage, to name a few of the things that will need to be done. I'll also be cerakoting the body and may drop in a lowther-walter or other custom made barrel with a fluting pattern. I'm wanting extra magazine and other Drozd parts to cannibalize it as we build up the initial prototype. Thanks again and if you have or know of anyone that has any of the Drozd & Drozd parts I'm looking for please let me know.

Hey, I sometimes get tunnel vision that I completely forgot to ask you about the adapter you have on the triple co2 (drozd) adapter. If you don't mind too terribly, please let me know where you got that threaded adapter extension that facilitates connecting the drozd 3x co2 adapter to an asa connection like you have on your rig. Please see the image of what I am referring to. If you have this adapter I'd be glad to by one from you or if you could point me to where I could get one that would be greatly appreciated! I can't believe I didn't catch that you had that on there the first time, as I have been looking all over for an adapter that can convert the very odd skinny threading on the 3x co2 adapter to go onto an asa block for my T9.1. Thanks!

It’s just an ASA plug drilled and tapped to the metric thread to match the adapter. The adapter use to be cheap because it had no use most converted to HPA or ran bulk co2. But after they started selling fast they marked the price way up. Then Russian imports got shut down and you couldn’t get them anymore then the price jumped even more. So you would need to find one used and they are rare to begin with and you won’t see much Russian products anytime soon. I just happened to have one because I on a Black Bird. At this point it would be cheaper to make one here if someone really wanted one anyway. Mine cost me a $15 Asa plug and a $10 tap. It’s a cool pice for outlaw play Phantom gets a bunch of shots off it. It’s not quick to change out. So it acts more like a mini C02 tank you can fill without any tools.

Same exact thing it was drilled larger to except a the fine metric thread of the 12g adapter. I used teflon to seal it but some red lock would work to.

Hi Fred. You mentioned you have some of these (ASA plugs) Chuck mentioned floating around. If so I would be interested in acquiring a couple of them and would like to know how much you want for them?

While conceptually I understand what Chuck had done to modify the ASA plug to be able to facilitate using the Drozd Blackbird 3x co2 adapter, I just don't have the skills and tools to do this. By chance would you be able to modify the ASA plug to fit on a the 3x co2 adapter as Chuck has done? If so I would be glad to remunerate you for your time and of course pay for the ASA plugs as well. What I am wanting this for is to be able to use it on my First Strike T9.1's rear ASA block (see image). Click image for larger version

            CB,

I do have those plugs, maybe like 3-4 of them. Unfortunately I do not have the tools to modify them. Maybe another member here can.

PM if you want the plugs still.
