Wanted: upgraded pgp, Palmer pug or any stock class Palmer, or other stock class gun
Hmm. Not that I'm eager to part with it as I haven't gotten to shoot it aside from a few rounds at a tree out back, but your comments on a pgp base, and on stocks brought this to mind.
But I got this 9.5" viper from Gumbster. Its pretty customized by him in and of its day. Seems to be something like an early sniper frame with lapco grips adapted via q brass mounting plate. . Has asa mounting holes and a stock with it. Dual air source 12ie or back bottle. Has a dropout and lever changer built in. Its technically comp class, but the feedneck allows for a cram jam set up. So it could be configured stock class with the included stock it seems to be what your wtb describes. I took it apart, replaced some seals, and got it holding air. But still seems like it needs a spring to get velocity all the way to 280. I didn't have a chrono, but rounds seemed semi weak depending on how I pulled the trigger. On that note it seemed like I could get a good shot if I pulled the trigger hard, and a weaker shot if I let the sear drag on the hammer so i think it needs a new hammer spring, but Ive been too busy to mess with it beyond that.
Id part with it for what I got into it if you love it. First two pics are mine after cleaning it up in the configuration I plan on using it. the second 2 show how Gumbster used it/sold it. It would come with all his parts too including the one armed bandit hopper if we worked it out.
