    Tippmann Drive Spring Pin

WTB a Tippmann Drive Spring pin, the little rod that goes in the spring at the back of an A5. Can’t get one locally as no more paintball stores and very few Canadian places even stock them.

Hero Outdoors. Paintball is listed in the shooting category.

Hero Outdoors is your one-stop army surplus online store in Canada. We offer one of the largest selections of military surplus products, gear and equipment.

I’ve ordered from them once before with no issues. Really good shipping as well, half of badlands

Ugghhhh......glad to hear you had a good experience with Hero Outdoors , as I did not!!! ....and I have read other poor reviews since my experience below:

I ordered some stuff off their website a year and half ago, i forget what now, nothing too expensive but I needed it.. The site let me add to my cart and buy it. Then after 2 weeks I still don't get my shipment. I followup and they say they don't have it in stock anymore. They offer me store credit, so I'm reasonable , figure someone there made a mistake, so I'd just use my store credit later on.

Fast forward a few weeks, order something else, the site again lets me buy (With my store credit and now some extra cash on top). The same scenario happens again . They don't have the product and offer me store credit. They have captured even more of my money, its like I gave them a loan!?

Anyhow, The third time I actually talk to a guy on the phone there, and confirm "DO YOU HAVE WHAT I AM ABOUT TO ORDER IN STOCK?" . Finally, get what i ordered , but some macro line that was part of the order is old , scratched up looking $hit ....... at that point i'm too exhausted with them to call back. I don't want a refund. I don't want any more store credit.

      Hero Outdoors? Never again!

Thanks for letting me know! I remember years ago tracking a part to Hero but I checked to see if they had it in stock. They didn’t but had it listed on their website as in stock. I think that is their game, say it’s in stock, get your money and offer credit. I’ll definitely avoid them then as I don’t want the hassle.

I have legitimately pulled a nail out of the back of an A-5 that matched the spring guide as a perfect replacement. In a pinch, a trip to the hardware store should cover it. I would blunt the sharp end just to prevent an accident during disassembling and reassembly, but a nail will work if the correct spring guide is unavailable.

This is what I’ll do. Need to grind the head a little bit so it sticks in end cap better. I took the pin out of my personal A5 and the one I sold had the proper piece. I have no qualms with this in my own equipment but wouldn’t sell a marker like that without disclosing. I’ll keep an eye out for a dead Tippmann I can get the part out of later.

I have some Cuda and I am in BC. Shipping is literally $2 anywhere in Canada.
