Looking for stock class phantom

Hey everyone, i bought a new phantom from extreme velocity and have had nothing but issues. I was at a stock class event this past weekend and was unable to use the phantom I purchased. Extreme velocity sent me a new valve but the marker still leaks, has velocity issues. I had an older phantom 10 years ago and it ran like a phantom.

Assuming leaking down the barrel? It’s a bad cup seal. They sent out a bad batch. I traced it back to a power tube / cup seal issue on a friends. Make sure your seal is good and the brass part is tight on your power tube. They have a tendency to back off I use a lil blue thread locker (removable) you can try flipping the cup seal if you don’t have a new seal. Honestly they should be testing these things better before they send them out.

Thats got to be frustrating getting a new marker that don’t work out of the box. What I will say is when you get it right the way it should have come, it will give you decades worth of reliability.

Also XEMON’s red and black acid wash one it’s a really sweet setup. She is a looker to with all the bells and whistles.

Hey Nate, check this one out. It's not stock class, but it has all the stuff you'd need plus some cool old school extras. I think I have a spare stock class body, and if so, I would sell it for fairly cheap.

If they happen to be reading this: Guys…ship NOTHING until you have it perfect. The Springpheed underwhelmed, the ASP addition wasn’t done correctly, guns leak, and all at higher than ever prices. Are you ill? The community prefers to support you but you can’t keep screwing things up no matter how nice of a guy you are.

It’s a fixable issue they just need to tec the stuff better. I’m curious if it’s just a bad batch of cup seals or a tolerance issue. Phantom internals are pretty forgiving.

Jessie at extreme velocity fixed my phantom. He said there was a bad batch of material that they used for cup seals. I tested my phantom after the fix and it shoots like a phantom. Top notch. Thanks all.

Well glad they got it sorted out. That’s what I figured it would be good thing its an easy non-expensive fix. Hopefully going forward they can get them right.
