WTB Planet Eclipse M170R, black

I've been wanting to try the M170R for a while now, and I've finally got the wife's go-ahead. Anyone got one they're ready to let go? I'd buy one new if I could, so I'd really love to find one in mint condition.

Edit: I would also consider just the mech frame.

Looks great, but I'd rather have an M170R. I have a few Emeks already, so it'd be nice to have something else that mostly takes the same parts.

Looking at eBay history, they seem to go for $550-$650 depending on condition. I'm willing to pay that. I almost got one for $625 that was "only used once," but I was outbid at the last second.

Closest I found was black with earth accents June of 2021. I paid $759 for it. They were impossible to find back then. Another $89 for the hair trigger you're at $850. You can build a custom Emek for that.

I've considered that, but I'm not a huge fan of the composite bodies on the Emeks. I mean, I like them for their functionality and durability. I actually own seven Emeks that I use for loaners. I love that I can give an Emek to someone and not care if they drop it on the gravel parking lot. But for my own personal marker, I'd rather have something nicer that I can anodize or cerakote someday. I'd really love to have a marker with Gun Candy Chimera, but I can't do that to an Emek. Even if I get a custom body, the frame and foregrip and lowers will still be composite.

There's also a rarity factor at play here. The M170R was only made for a little while, and for some reason that makes it all the more desirable to me. They don't even sell the mech frame anymore, which baffles me. I can still get a brand new mech frame for a Gtek, which is far older, but PE already discontinued the mech 170R frames. Doesn't make sense to me personally, but it's their business. They're doing just fine without my input.

I do have one of the OG Gmeks, actually, and I honestly prefer that to the Emek. I wasn't a big fan of the trigger at first, but I did a little pneumatic magic on that, and now I like it better than the Emek trigger. Everyone else who has shot it likes it better too. So...since I like the Gmek better than the Emek, I have a feeling I'll enjoy the M170R even more, especially since there are other upgrades I can do to the trigger and three-way assembly. .

I don't have a black one but I have a olive green and black one that's anod by Arc anodizing that's essentially new. Let me know if you're settled on just black.

I have a Planet Eclipse Etek 3. I just joined because I saw this and was trying to sell. I would prefer to sell it where I know it would get used than to some random collector on ebay. :-) I know it isn't exactly what you want, but I just thought I would throw it out there!
