Fairly obscure item so I’m not really holding out a ton of hope, but why not give it a shot? Anyone got one of these they don’t need?

Looks like Palmers has the ASA in stock, and the adapter is ubiquitous (on second thought maybe not, looks like it may have a nonstandard little protruding end on the 1/8 NPT threaded portion). Hardest thing it seems to source is the gas thru bolt:



But perhaps they’ve got one lying around in a box full of Blazer parts they wouldn’t mind selling to me...

Out of stock. Thanks to both of you though! I’ve actually figured out a different method that should be equally reliable and look good so I actually don’t need one anymore. I’ll leave this thread up though for anyone who is seeking one, so they can see Walker’s awesome breakdown of what this part actually is.

Basically I’ve got these two Trracers (the newer Empire version), and one is my stock class standby and one I’m turning into a dedicated FSR shooter. I’m trying to create a system that I can swap between them that utilizes a palmers stabilizer, an on/off/ and a standard CCI bucket changer—in the sleekest and most unobtrusive way possible.

It’s kinda hard to describe without pics (they’ll be coming once it’s finished) but basically what I’ve come up with is a bracket that mounts from the bottom line facing forward and holds a vertically mounted female stabilizer, which inputs into an on/off, which then will have an elbow that connects it to a standard ASA, which is bolted to the underside of the bracket and basically due to the geometry of it is in a kind of drop forward position. Sounds wonky but it will all make sense when I’m finished.

I’ve got a second (male) stabilizer that I’m currently debating whether or not is worth putting into the mix. Almost certainly overkill but this all stems from a long-held desire to create a high-performance, Nelson-based and non-magfed FSR platform. Since it’s only single-shot consistency will be key, so I’m not totally against the idea of putting dual stabilizers on it though I know that sounds kinda ridiculous.

EDIT: I should say: I’m looking to make an ultra-consistent CO2 shooter out of it. I know I could easily get better consistency with hpa, but I want this primarily to be a 12g marker.

I hate the “giant hex key down the barrel” method of velocity adjustment so the one stabilizer is already going on it if for no other reason then for that, and then I’ll prob run some tests and decide if having a second one on there is providing any measurable consistency gains or if it’s just taking up space.
