    WTB Dukie DRV

    Hello,
after a long absence from paintball due to work life, I've decided to hunt down a holy grail paintball gun for myself , I am looking to pick up a dukie DRV, if anyone has one they're willing to sell off.

Have you shot one? The concept is cool but they are wall hangers after a lil use. You will likely be buying some else’s problem. The wheels wear out at the contact point for indexing. There was a guy working on new upgraded wheels. But not sure what happened with that. I’m assuming the cost of manufacturing them out of more durable materials was to expensive. Good luck in your search just hope you know what you are getting into.

They are definitely Cool AF if you can figure out how to keep it from shooting itself apart. If you figure that out LMK I couldn’t with the one I had and sold it.

Save yourself the grief but the umarex revolver instead.

That falls into first place of worst markers I've ever owned

Welcome back to paintball! I owned a DRV for a bit. It was super cool, but not at all reliable as a primary. I removed the springfeed and modded the hole with some polycarbonate tubing so I could thumb rounds into it as needed. Felt like a proper cowboy. Darn thing loved to chop paint though, and graffiti at that. I’m not sure if it was the index, or the detent oring or gremlins, but it was super chaotic. Sometimes it would shoot the wheel with no issues, others it would blend each ball into a fine purée of mist and gelatin. I love the idea of a paintball revolver. I’ve had a 3357, a Roscoe and that DRV. Ultimately after a lot of swearing and swabbing, I decided some ideas just don’t transfer well to paintball and sent them all packing. That said, people warned me and I bit anyway! So if you absolutely have to have one, ignore us! Good luck in your hunt.

I definitely found issues with the indexing, cocking the hammer too hard and it would over travel, and too soft it would be under.
For the feed tube, what i ended up doing is cutting the threads off of a 10rnd phantom feed, so i could just load with tubes. gravity usually did a good enough job of getting the balls in.
It's always been fun to use, but the moment it starts breaking paint, that's kind of the end of it for the day.

Something i did for fun was 3d print the cylinders just to have more, they worked fairly well,
also made a 50cal cylinder and a 50cal freak insert to go with it. ( actually shot well, until you turned to velocity down)
