Looking for Palmer’s detents

You may have already checked there and be hesitant to order from them. But, they show as in stock at PPS. Some people have been starting to get their orders lately. Hopefully Craig is back on his feet and getting things sorted out.

Jonnydread I had the same problem as you.

I ended up buying some delrin balls from McMaster Carr and bending the wires from some old mag springs.

the original palmer one is top right

anson thinking of cooking a couple of these up myself. Got a mag spring. What size ball did you end up getting I don't have one for reference. the hole in my houndstooth is 1/4" so that seems logical though maybe a 3/16th?

Drcemento they are 1/4". The hardest part is drilling the tiny hole. I had to make a jig.
Instead of buying the balls you can probably 3d print something now a days
