It seems the original might be gloss black, but if anyone can confirm matching anno… that would be great.

Twisted G Jonnydread - So the story is basically as follows:

TL;DR: I fully intend on shooting it eventually.

Years ago I was playing at the local field, just getting back into paintball after bailing on it in the early, and incredibly toxic, early 2000's. As I played and saw whatever markers were popular in the 2015 range, there was one guy who stood out because he was shooting an old school Autococker. I inquired about it and he was telling me how Nick (The owner, and autococker guru) had just gone through the whole marker and replaced things and upgraded parts and yadda yadda.... The thing shot smooth and fast... At that moment I was like, "Man, I need something just like that. Something that can shoot fast (for mech) and reliably and smooth and quiet... and just minty autococker goodness." I've owned a few cockers since then, but they were generally newer or gimmicky and didn't scratch that same itch of that old school block of metal mowing people down. So, eventually I stumbled across the Bob Long Signature series... I've seen a bunch of different patterns on them, but google had shown my a yellow one. I've looked passively, and a few times actively, for the last three or so years for one with yellow with no luck. I've never even seen one posted outside of Google images, let alone for sale...
One day a week or two ago I saw this posted by Chris (I forget his username) in the "What's It Worth" section and decided to reach out and find out if he was looking to buy, sell, or just curious.. Eventually, I gave him my number and he ended up being local. Thankfully, he decided to let it go and we were able to come to a deal on it... I wasn't in the market for anything else this year, but it felt like one of my unicorns.. so I made it work... (someone buy my impulses, plz). Ha

For real though, the paintball budget is a little non-existent at the moment as my roommate moves out this month along with my play money income.. However, once I get ahead of some of my other debts/projects, Ill probably end up sending this off to someone to fine tune and make a real shooter like the one I originally mentioned. I hear Hellion360 is quite the cocker whisperer.
