    Pre-2k Oval Timing Rod

My pre-2k slider trigger has the oval timing slot, and for the life of me I cannot find a timing rod with an oval end. I know they exist, I have one on my 96 Cocker, but my multiple attempts to home brew one have been unsuccessful.

If you have one kicking around that you could part with let me know! PayPal ready.

    Thank you!

It likely was just a flattened standard round timing rod.

u can just hammer them and make them flat style. i lay them flat on an anvil and ball peen hammer both sides until they are flat style, u gotta keep fitting them as you flatten them. or just use a regular round timing rod - that play is supposed to be in the trigger on a cocker. helps with timing and keeps from short stroking. also be aware that there are a couple different thread sizes for timing rods.

Gentlemen: He knows. He stated that he has tried and is no longer interested in trying to make one himself. Now he's trying to purchase one. This isn't a general topic thread on how to make one. He didn't ask for a tutorial on how to. He's got it posted in WTB and directly states that he wants to buy one. So, unless we have one to sell him, lets F-off out of this thread.
