The delrin tech t is easier to find and serves a similar light weight purpose. Also they're a little better made in the threads area despite being plastic.
Just if you hadn't looked at them. Good luck. I like the slik back block too.
I don't know how many were made. They seemed popular at the time. The two I had had sloppy but not stripped threads. Maybe a lot of them got tossed. I know a lot of the bolts swelled up.
It's funny you say the slik back blocks aren't good for electro builds because that was the main target market of the slik parts. Reduced mass for better cycling electro cockers.
Either way they are neat parts. I love the back block design. The tech T is okay and was on eBay for like 11 dollars 3 years ago or so so maybe cheap still.
