    WTB Autococker Brass Parts

Working on a brass build. I’ve seen things like feed necks, cocking arms/rods, bolt pins etc. What’s out there that I don’t have? Also if you know of somewhere that will make them, that would work too. (CCM shot me down.)

    Thanks all!

What do you want? Seems you already have just about every off-the-shelf brass bit on there.

You could hardline the air with brass tubing and copper compression fittings, somebody could turn you a brass bolt pull pin, and maybe make a brass pump rod and front block bolt.

If you really wanted to get carried away, how about a 2-piece bolt with a brass back and Delrin nose? A brass beavertail? A brass nut on the cocking rod? Maybe a brass knob for the ASA? I've seen brass couplers for the timing rod, but these days, you'd likely have to have one of those made, too.

Finally, have an engraved brass medallion made to go in place of the bubble sticker.

THEN... counterbore a pattern of shallow, flat-bottomed holes along the sides of the body, and embed cut-off cartridge case-heads.

You just need somebody with imagination. And a machine shop.

stop by your local hardware store and get some brass screws for those grip panels.

Most of those things you mentioned! But I can’t find anyone they still does custom work. Looking to see what people have laying around. I’d really like the CCM brass macro lines. A bolt with a brass end, and a brass bolt pin. A brass feedneck would be amazing, but that would certainly be custom (which I’m open to if anyone knows where)

Great call on the brass screws!

        Thanks all!

You can get brass grips aswell! This is my brass bits S6 build below.

i may have a spare bolt pin and cocking rod tip if you are interested! Once your 10 day waiting period is up shoot me a pm.

The grips are nice and hefty but pricey. Link:https://lokgrips.com/1911-palm-swell-gridlok-brass/

Someone here was saying that typical Norgen macro fittings are nickel plated brass (I think), so you may be able to polish off the plating on your fittings to expose the brass.

I don't know how well it would work on already plated parts though
