(WTB / WTT) Mac Dev Cyborg 6

After some info I think I am good to go if you have one for super cheap let me know but I think I am good right now.


I bought a Silver Mac Dev Prime and I like it. However I want to try a Mac Dev Cyborg 6 I have looked online and there are not many of them for sale and if they are for sale they are in a lot of parts. I would like to buy one that I can shoot before May and do not have to spend a lot getting parts in from Mac Dev. If you have one and would be willing to sell or trade to me let me know. Ideally I would like to get a purple and / or green one but still "show me what you got!!!"

Be careful… the Cyborg 6 can be a harsh mistress.

I had not heard that what are the issues? If you do not mind telling me I would appreciate it.

I owned one briefly and had to shim the HPR spring to get it to reach 280 FPS. That was after I had shipped it to MacDev's Cyborg specialist here in the states. He recently had a long comment on Reddit in r/paintball about the unreliability of the Cyborg 6.

That said, I had a teammate who had a Cyborg 6 that was great. If the transducer breaks for the HPR reading, don't bigger replacing it. The replacement that I ordered from Australia stopped working shortly after I installed it.

If you are going to buy one, ask for shooting videos first.
