I have a standard SL45/45 I haven’t used since I got one of the new FS 2” round tanks.

due for a re hydro. It was born 3/15 and was rehydro on 4/19. Use to be my go to Pump tank. It’s got some miles but still has some life left of you want it LMK.

The LITE is super close in weight of the SL2 and will have a newer manufactured date.

            Yeah mine is 1-21.

They are getting hard to come by. I wonder if HK's new line of alpha tanks is an indication of a shift.

I really like the one I picked up. Great for pump play.

Never liked the shorter fatter style tanks.

The 45ci tanks are made in very small batches. The SL 45 doesn't appear to be made anymore. The most recent run of the grey and translucent 45 lite bottles was done in 2021 I believe. There was a run of Pink/Purple/Green/Yellow/Orange 45 lite bottles done that would have the freshest hydro dates.

Yeah definitely hard to come by. The SL2's were a bit lighter and I enjoy that with my weak computer arms

I might try and get one of the colored 45's, but they are also mostly out of stock.

From my understanding the difference was more marketing then actual weight difference in the tanks. They went to an aluminum bonnet for the SL2 reg I believe that shaved a few grams. I remember looking at the SL and SL2 on the scale and not being impressed. Then the LITE came out and didn't have the black jell coat with the same spec as the first SL. At the time the Ninja tanks were substantially lighter then the Pure energy 45/45 that was about to age out to it last hydro. That I remember was a substantial difference. But SL vs SL2 vs LITE it's so close (I would find one with the best hydrodate)

I know the 68ci are like 3oz difference. (We are talking about a difference in the weight of about 3 AA batteries)

I have a 45ci SL2 with an 01/18 date - so needs hydro. Gauge on the ultralite reg is cracked, good condition otherwise.
