    Ans gx5

Recently getting back into paintball. Want to get an autococker because I always wanted one as a kid. Fell in love with the gx5 and im hoping to find one for a good/ reasonable price.

Anyone have any tips on where to look? My budget is low hoping to get one for $300-$400. Is this unreasonable?

Welcome back to the fold! I feel like I recently saw a GX5 for sale here, but I am uncertain what it sold for. Good luck on your search

I talked to that guy, it was just a body he was selling as he couldn't source a frame.

Yeah I remember ANSgear was selling NOS ones for like $500 or $550 for the longest time. A blue/black one that was supposedly unused just sold for $750 on the bay. Seller has another unused red/black for the same price. So probably not gonna get him to accept any lower. .
Never used Autococker gx5 paintball marker Comes untested/ as is. Has been sitting in a collection for several years. Will be shipped priority with tracking and insurance RUN100 on mcarterbrown

Yeah your probably gonna pay north of $500 if it's all original and in nice condition. More if it has nicer/rarer parts added, and is leak free and shooting to speed. .

Thanks everyone. Yeah id seen that one on ebay. Hoping i could get a better deal on a used one. Its gonna be hard justifying a $500 gun when i only play twice a year.

            So play more.

You only go to like scenario big games? I'm the same way now that my home field does not seperate the beginners and advanced players anymore. Not fun for them or me. .

Over the past 3 years me and some friends started getting a group of friends together and playing 1-2 times a year. Gonna try some big/ scenario games this year hopefully. I probably wouldn't bother buying a marker but i also like to collect guns so i feel like I should just get myself a cool one.

I am am ANS cocker nerd. $450 is a great price, I havent seen that in a couple years. Most part them out, the frames are worth the most.

              You son of a bitch....

Do the right angle trigger frames fit other guns? Or are they specific to that gun

They are called ANS 90 frames, a Jackal knockoff, and they fit any standard cocker.
The frame is the cool bit, the bodies are pretty standard.
If I wasn't a nerd I would get a frame and any round mill body, the frames are $150 usually.

This is a marker that, l think, will continue to be an elusive one to find. At least for cheap. Bought mine when they first came out, with money I didn't have. Never played a single game with her and probably never will. Could never get the timing quite right with the original equipment. I have other properly timed cockers just to nip that part of things. Good luck in your search. It has brought more joy to my life that far offset the headaches. I'm probably not the only one who will keep this marker in my collection to pass on.

            P.S You have excellent taste.😃

            Much love as always.

Alright. Looks like i might just settle for a frame if i cant find the entire marker for a good price.

              Appreciate the help everyone
