Why the CS1.5 and not the CS1?

CS1.5 and CSR are slimmed down compared to the CS1… as I understand it. To be honest, haven’t held either of them, but the lighter the better. Geo 4 went back to 3.5 ergo roots, which intrigues me too, but not many floating around.

I have slapped CS2 grips into my CS1, after a slight modification, and enjoy the slimmer feel.
