      I'd take one of those over the stock piston. After doing the legacy tech thing for dirty works I noticed the Timmy regs that got heavy use started to have a wear point on the interior wall. You could feel it if you ran your finger over the surface. I think it's because Bob used a single 100 series ring from the factory. Over time it was pushing the aluminum out just a bit where it ran back and forth

      I also had cases where the piston would tilt sideways and damage the Schrader stem. That one was rare but did happen, again I think it was because of the single 100 series o ring

      So no, I wouldn't expect any performance difference but probably a longevity one
