    HP tank reg

My ninja reg set screws wont stay tight any more and Im scared for my life. Looking to spend up to $30 on a tank reg.

id prefer HP so that I can use it on my spyder but if anyone can sell me on the benefits of using LP on a PE 180r I could be convinced.

The setup is kind of weird, it’s like 3 set screws that hold the threaded portion of the reg into the rest of the reg, and I think the set screws got dull or something because the tank spins on that section. Then I tried to over tighten them and stripped them all.

I could be wrong, but I believe there is a ridge that should prevent tbe top from just blowing off. $30-$40 is fairly cheap pace of mind when you have 4500psi next to your face.

That’s probably the case, it was the ball type. I say was because the tank was loc-tited onto it so the reg got the vise while the tank got the strap wrench. Now the fill nipple is snapped off and the gauge that was already in very bad shape is now demolished.

I had one spare 4.5 k reg (guerrilla air myth) but it leaks
