On off asa and empire nub feedneck

Im building ,another trilogy, as a test mule. Im trying to do it on the cheap, but I can't stand not having an on/off or a clamping feedneck. Direct mount or with a rail

Budget is as follows
feedneck: $20 shipped (best i have found on ebay)
asa: $33 shipped (also best ebay price)

Does color and/or condition matter? I have an old ASA that came on an Ion I bought. The ASA is an early design CP with a twist knob. Is s blue and has cosmetic wear.
