If I'm available when you have the event, a Splatmster Only can be arranged. We can also do the TR50 revolver game. And new for 2026, in honor of Shark Week, possibly a Tiger Shark only game. I'm full of stupid ideas and weird markers to back them up.

No real budget in mind, ideally < $2k but I'm open to stuff now that there's some pump play in my future. I'm assuming this is a long shot but I'm excited to see what's potentially out there.

A pistol style phantom will feel and (out)perform the same as a boxgun or duck. and be lighter!
Youll have a much better time with the efficiency, flexibility, reliability and accuracy of a freak bored phantom. paint these days is way small for the barrels on A lot of the older carter stuff. seals and parts are hard to find. do you really wanna be risking sendng out a super rare part to get bored?
just dont want anyone to end up with a overpriced, pretty paperweight when you could be out there getting the same if not better experience with a phantom pistol. readily available parts and the ability to swap things around for hpa, feedneck, singleshot, bolt action, ect. is great too

I’m building my own around a Phantom based pistol. I might sell my 45 Phrameworks if I get my hands on the new 86 frame FlyweightNate is making as we speak.

The 45 frames he made are awesome!

Im also building out my DSP with a Duck Slide made this Mock whoosh out of an aluminum airsoft part that I bored to slip fit over an 11” Phantom barrel. It’s got ASP detents in it to and shoots and feeds Amazing.

I'm aiming for tortoise energy, preparing more of these slowly but steadily. The next batch should be done right around Christmas, still. More to follow next year.

So if you're patient (months not years at this point), I recommend grabbing a Phantom (and maybe a nice barrel from DocsMachine) or 007 to build on.

I never had luck with a Phantom pistol until I put the Phrame on it because my muscle memory was too ingrained in a proper .45 block. (Yeah, this project was personal.) Ergonomics make a huge difference when you don't have a shoulder on it, so make sure you get a good "fit" for you, whether that's the old Nelly frame, or something fancier. I can shoot a 1911 or CZ75 grip ten times better than a Phantom stock frame (even with the bolt on .45 grip), something like a Glock, or a stock 007 Daisy grip. Which reminds me, I have a couple 007s on the wall that still need a .45 frame...

I do find heavy pistol setups help. Phantom Pistol / Micro phantoms aim harder I find due to how light they are. My Creeper Customs PGP single shot with the brass K Frame is very natural shooting. I find it to be incredibly accurate I think because it’s all brass and it’s got some weight behind it. It’s very balanced as well. My Carter Duck that has a lot of stainless (body/ valve) is very accurate shooting as well. If I shoot something without a stock I like a little heft otherwise I feel like I’m all over the place.

I’m still trying to narrow down my perfect Ducky’s Duck build. I’m getting there. I’m talking with a guy to do the Fiber Laser Engraving work on the parts before Ano. By I got to narrow down the function 100% before I work on the form. I really want to try that 86 frame before I make the final call on my build.
