WTB Empire Sniper T-800

I’m searching for the ANS exclusive T-800 Empire Sniper. I currently have the polished pink acid wash sniper and love shooting it. I would be willing to trade +cash for the chrome version or buy outright. Thanks for looking!

what do those go for? is it worth it to grab the cheapest sniper you can and just sandblast it and polish it out?

It would probably be better to do a multiple stage tumble to make sure all the nooks and crannies get polished as well. But unless you already have all those tools (basically you own some kind of specialized metal shop) it's going to be very difficult to get a good polish on every surface

I see snipers going for like 350, which is about what I paid for the ANS pink. Maybe the chrome version would fetch 450? I’m not sure I have the ability to strip and polish each piece but I would consider that if I can’t find the T-800. I’ve also considered sending my own out to be stripped and nickel plated but I’m not sure what that would cost.

I imagine the problem with plating is it would plate the inside of the tubes as well and therefore change their dimensions.
