Every hobby that captures my interest begins by me either starting with free shitty shit, or getting something appropriately modern at a substantially discounted price. I’ll Buy and sell to dip my toes in all the options, but typically I end up in a certain niche and era of gear that may or may not have been expensive, but have lasted the test of time. Similarly has it been with the trade of barbering. Newnew clippers have some cool new motors, battery life, and previously unavailable options for left handed weirdos like me. BUT TEHY DOMT MAKEM LIEK THEY USE TOOOOO!!!1!!!1!!
So I use corded Andis maters because they’ll last you a hundred years, run at max horsepower all day, and cables are really of no inconvenience if you’re not an iPad baby.
Although I left paintball several years ago, I’ve always dreamed of having a few of these ano’d in some super sick pattern that would give the likes of us an erection and increased heart beat.
So, if you’re going to be sending a lot of parts in for a custom job, I’d love to pay a share to add an aluminum clipper body to the mix. I’ll tell stories about you at my chair as I use it
