My apologies getting your hopes up with a notification that someone has replied to your thread.

But out of curiosity and possibly upcoming need - you mentioned you might re anno the barrel. Are you going to have it color matched, and if so - who is good enough to color match that kind of anno reliably?

I have a gent in Canada who is considering giving it a try. I know this is not an easy feat. I have looked for a matching boomstick for years and saw one go up but the price was madness as such I am open to trying this avenue. Its still to be determined but I dont see this gun ever leaving me and its been a ride trying to collect all the matching goodies
