    WTB WGP Pot Metal Frame

    Hello,

I'm currently looking for a WGP pot metal frame in black for a completely stock build I'm doing. It doesn't need to have the internals or anything, as long as the price is right.

    Thanks!

You mean the sniper 1, sniper 2 frames? Those were also found on standard sheridan pmi guns if I'm correct about what your asking for.

Maybe? Here's the type I'm looking for, but not unfinished

Yeah, that's it. Standard sheridan frame. PMI's, Snipers, etc. All used that frame early on. I'll check my bin but I bet there's quite a few kicking around. Someone should have one for you if I don't find one

That's a slide frame from an early cocker. A pot metal cocker frame.

Sheridan frames with the angled bottoms were cut flat on top and used on sniper 1s early on.

Sniper frames are like the cocker frame but no timing rod slot.

Also used on mags for a time.

Dutch the finish falls right off. You will probably need to spray paint whatever frame you get. It's pretty straight forward to do a good job.

It's nice to find one with good finish but it wasn't very long lasting.

That one does look like it was stripped in a harsh manner.

              Good to know!

So they're pretty much just spray painted from the factory?

I found the frame I was thinking about, all the threads are good, but the paint job is flaking bad, definitely needs a new paint job. Pm me if your still interested.
