[WTB] EBlade Clapper Solenoid - E1/E2

See photo. Can't find these anywhere and I have a failed one. I've tried multiple boards, it's definitely a failed clapper solenoid. Any help locating one is appreciated!

It looks like a spyder one might fit, let me investigate further!

Ugh, negative on the spyder solenoid, the body is just slightly too large in diameter. The newer spyder solenoids are too long. Maybe someone can weigh in on any others before I dissect too many markers 🤣

I have one but I was going to crack it open for scientific purposes 🤓. I need to know how many turns of wire and which gauge they are so I can get them made/make them myself. I might actually be able to print some of the internals in resin but i need to invest in a small lathe for the body. You can check if it's burnt out with a multi-meter set to ohms. Mine measures 1.2 Ω
    • Finite resistance (e.g., 1.2 - 1.5 Ω or slightly more) → coil is continuous.
    • OL / infinite resistance → broken wire or open coil.
    • Very low resistance (near 0 Ω) → shorted coil

Mine reads 2.0 ohms. Too much resistance for operation. I've tried an E1 board and an E2 board with it with no success. Both boards work fine otherwise and work fine with other clapper solenoids. This clapper works with no pressure against it. Once you have a hammer cocked it won't function.

I can mail this one to you if you want it! Nothing I can do with it.

I might take you up on that offer for the solenoid if it's truly busted. I was about to put a wtb out for one before I resorted to ripping this one to bits and bobs.

Nope. They have inventory not listed on the website? Is that common for them? I've talked to them before and they told me it's become difficult for them to find any stock anymore for parts. I didn't want to hassle them given that consideration. I can certainly call and ask though! 🙂
