Isnt a "working" nightmare anomoly in itself? Ive never held ome, but I recall reading them being pretty bad at pinching an oring and leaking with normal use.

Yeah, Im no expert, but past I saw them sell it was like $550-600 for a broken one.

Doc here on the forums even offered to overhaul one we all watched on ebay. If a MCB member got it, he wanted to fix its flaws, record the guts, and send it back to the owner.

I thino ypu may have luck finding a broken one, but itll cost ya. Then likely gonna want someone like Doc to fix it.


Can I ask why a nightmare?

You could get a nice sheridan or pmi long barrel or similar and have a more common realiable brass shooter.

That was a an Eagle, far more valuable than a Nightmare. I think Nightmares are still around the $250 range depending on model.

The Brass eagle Eagle is a semi auto where the Nightmare is a pump.
The eagle was prone to failure and from what I understand where taken back under waranty, very few still exist.
