Pitting in upper bore of SP Nerve

I bought a used SP Nerve and there is pitting in the upper bore. The delrin bolt was pretty stuck. I have been sanding down the bolt and it is getting better. Will this ever work okay or do I need a new body?

How bad? Might be better off getting a new body and bolt

The body looks fine to me. the bolt probably just swelled from adsorbing moisture over the years. Id keep sanding the bolt with fine grit sand paper until it moves freely but doesnt have too much slop.

I got it working with enough sanding.

Keep in mind now it's not machined smooth and might score the breach more
