    .689 caliber paintballs title pool

1 - Would you prefer to buy balls that are the size of at least .689 compared to those currently available on the market that are considerably smaller?

2 - If these balls cost more than today's balls, how much would you be willing to pay in a box of 2000 balls?

I can play with anything over .668

.689 is too big for my brass barrels.

I would not pay more for larger, I would pay more for consistent size, consistent breaking and minimal seam.

give me consistency larger than .680 and I'm happy, consistency at or over .684 and I'm ecstatic. hell, one of my nelspots measures at .675 so I need that shitty tiny paint to be able to use it lmao

        1. Absolutely
        2. Given that the current most expensive paint online is $79.95 for a case, I'd pay $5-10 more for bigger sized paint.
My local field is Field Paint Only, so I'd only be buying to take when i travel to play in tournaments with my team.

My smallest non insert barrel is a .684 titanium longbow. I have a cp barrel kit .689 to .679

would love paint to be over .686 since thats what my check it 9 inch is (i think) .

I agree with Flounder. Bigger is nice but only if it’s a part of “better”.

These days paint size seems to be on the rise and we have Freedummy’s wedgits so it’s not a huge priority for me at the moment. For the one day of the year I can BYOP I’m not sure if I need something better that Graffti, which is what I generally buy for Monster Game at Hell Survivors.

I'd love to use older barrels on a cocker, without rollouts, and without some detent/sizer system. So yeah I'd be in for up to a 10% premium max.

To echo others' sentiments, I would be willing to pay an extra $5-$15/case for larger paint IF it was extremely good (consistent, minimal seam, virgin shell, etc.). Since I usually play stick feed a case can last me a long time so I'm fairly willing to pay more.

I was going to post a WTB-Large Paint on the Forum.
I would pay $100 (delivered hopefully) for a case of GOOD QUALITY large diameter paint.
The problem for the OP, if you are thinking of fronting the money for a special run, is volume. I would pay almost any price, but as a customer, I am good for only about two cases a year. I just need it for certain markers, and also will probably have to give some money to the field to allow a small amount of BYOP.
If others only need it as specialty paint instead of primary paint also...well, be prepared for a large number of small orders.

I sure hope this works out and is sustainable.
I have to Overbore everything anyway, because the paint available at my field is consistently egg shaped. I would be nice to regain some efficiency using large round paint
