Feedneck mod wanted

I have a center feed micromag, want the neck shaved and threaded for a clamping feedneck. Maybe an ego or any other type that is out there.

If you want it trimmed to a snub for use with the Inception Designs or Planet Eclipse necks then you should get in touch with BMC Fabrication. He is reasonably quick and does good work.

I think nummech offers feedneck services, and ir Stanchy would be a guy Id ask

Is there enough steel there for threads? I just thought these were a tape it up, hack saw, square/deburr, tighten on an Ego or Bob Long feed neck.

I was looking at doing this for one I had on my bench for awhile, ended up selling it. I have a few ideas. Shoot me a pm, fb message or email.

You may be thinking of the classic steel bodies, which you are right, for those cut down and use a clamping feedneck.

The micromags are aluminum and the center feed have a huge neck that can be milled down and threaded for a neck. Kind of like the old school cockers.
