I am looking fore a single tube gun like a mokal

I am looking fore a single tube gun like a mokal - but with the pistol grip closer to the feed tube for a project. no expansion tube grips.

    What about using an automag?

Mech ion? Very modular for projects

Yes, but you will need a reg to drop the pressure. Might not have the room for it

True. it can be relocated, but not super easily. Just figured it's a good candidate since its cheap

Sheridan xts? I'm pretty sure the foregrips are adjustable a couple inches to either side of the feed.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had considered all these, mag, xts, mech ion.
I considered the mag - but had lots of problems in the past (possibly due to using co2).
I had an XTS -feed was too forward.
I started with a Mech Ion - the parts are still in the bag.

Stingray? 17 ? BOTH HAVE FEED TOO FAR FROM GRIP FRAME/TRIGGER WORKS. IT SEEMS THE MAG AND THE ION ARE BEST CHOICES.
THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE:

Made this in 2008. Was using co2 and would blow the o-rings and would have to tear it apart.
Hpa should be easier on the rings

Yeah definitely mag or ion. One thing with an ion, or one of its counterparts, is you could build it either mech or electro. You could also move the frame, if needed, without worrying about redesigning mechanical components.
