Freak Back 2.0 for Blowback Tippmann´s

Cause the stock Freak Back´s for Tippmann´s are worse constructions i build a better one !
Major problem is that the bolt dives incredible deep into the barrel you will have hudge gap between Bolt tip and Freak insert. I´ve checked the movement of the bolt to figure out how long the bolt dives into. After i cut a piece of a .697 insert which fits perfect to bolt diameter. The hammer opens the valve after the ball is pushed by the bolt into the insert, so it´s getting like it´s in other markers standard.









































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































Yeeaaahhh fiberglas isn´t a beauty but cheap and it´s doing his job(like on my AC or TPX) !!!

You definitely think outside the box! Are you using the glass mesh, or just epoxy resin and thread? Anyways I like it, your mods/builds are always interesting.

Yes i use glass mesh stuff + resin, also for the threads. Just need to prepare the thread, grease the surface so the resin can´t stick.

I'm pretty sure (for 98 barrels at least) by the time the hammer begins to hit the valve, the ball (or the middle part at least) is fully seated in the actual barrel, and not the ramp at the end.

The problem comes when the bolt goes in the end of the barrel, it will get stuck in/pull out an insert.

I had 2 Backs for my A5 and M98 and quickly sold them after i had my experiences !












































Left on is an A5 Freak Back and the right one is an All American Back, a good fitting insert has to be a bit tight which is bad when the ball isn´t pushed complete into cause of the edge you see !
