    DL-44 fsc

I bought this kit in January from sellswords, finally got around to adapting it to the Fsc. The trigger components were a straight swap which was nice. I had to notch the front of the frame to make it fit the Fsc body. I drilled and tapped the body for the front frame screw, but ultimately there wasn’t enough meat to hold reliably. So I crafted a steel cover plate which bolts on to the stock hole then covers the frame. Holds strong, no motion in the frame. Took the cap off the freak barrel and epoxied on the new muzzle. Drilled and tapped a hole to retain the freak inserts. Waiting on a nylon tipped screw to replace the button head. Also need to alter the scope mounts a bit so I can fit two instead of the one. All things considered it’s shooting great. Was painting a 2x4 from 20 yards with the red dot this afternoon.

Thanks bud. Figured it’s gotta have that “straight out the scrapyard” look for classic Star Wars flair

Thanks, using zetas actually. I tried the standard trufeed mags but for some reason they unseat when leveraged from back to front. The zetas hold strong, no amount of cantilever unseats them. I thought about tapping the mag well for a screw to eliminate the leverage issue, but I’m currently enjoying the extra firepower. Function over form I suppose.

      Cool, thanks
Didn't realize you could adapt the tipx mags on them ...
      (I wasn't a fan of the in-mag 12g system ... )

The in mag system is a cool idea, but it makes for a way chunky grip. The Fsc is less chunky than its predecessor, but still meaty. The Sellsword C-96 grip feels absolutely great in hand, and comes standard as a tipx conversion. One caveat, it is roundball only.
