Phantom Front Sight Post

Wanted to get a front sight on the phantom similar to some of the older lapco ghost front sights. Quick search on Amazon and I came across a fiber optic shotgun sight that seemed to fit the bill. Overall no complaints on the Dead Ringer sight, just changed out the fasteners it came with for an M3X10 flat head cap screw to get more threads into the plastic. Also comes with several color options for the optic. Fit to the barrel is solid but with a good enough tap it'll rotate, not too worried about that now. I could've moved the compression fastener to the underside of the barrel for a better grip on the barrel but I like the lower profile this provides.

Dead Ringer housing for the optic is anodized aluminum and it has a base dimension of about 0.525 X 0.26" for anyone interested in doing something similar.

Swapped out the optic for orange and added a reverse ported break similar to the M50 from hammerhead. See if that does much with the sound.

Is that front-sight, a print/design, of your own or something you found online?

Looks good Red, how's that setup work? Is it ghost ring for closer shots and fiber optic through ghost ring for longer shots? Looks like you'd need to angle the barrel up a bit to get the fiber optic visible through the ring?

I removed the post of the ghost sight, so one can center the front optic through it, and judge angle and distance with nice visual references.
This one I designed, and had printed sls nylon from an online vendor.
I, like others, can’t intuition aim with the phantom geometry coming from snipers, so this actually works great.
