Sweeeet. Is your vertical adapter threaded on the forward tube? The one I've got just slides into the fitting with an o-ring.

It was soldered, actually... I had to de-solder the tube from the elbow that threads into the valve, thread the tube, then trim to fit the new fitting I used.
That powdercoat looks really nice!! I really need to finish mine.
Thanks! But it's actually spray paint, not powdercoat. It's "wrinkle" paint, usually used on automotive parts like intakes or valve covers - sprays on smooth and gets wrinkly after a few hours. It's not the cheapest stuff - a can of it runs about $30 - but the finish feels and looks pretty great.
I did some thinking the last few days on 1) if I wanted the OLED installed and 2) how I would do the install if I did go ahead.
98 Custom receivers have a "punchout" marked in the grip portion - I'm assuming for one of the electro kits? - which I decided to use as my display window. I wanted the display to stand proud of the frame and be captured by the grips when the were installed, so I also needed to cut a window in the grip panel.
Not wanting to chop up perfectly good Hogues, I dig around in my Tippmann graveyard and found a pair of "split grips" meant for a 98, marked where the window was, and did some (mostly) careful cutting. There were a few goofs along the way, but I got there in the end. π
I also wanted a lense to cover the display, so I found a translucent plastic Dremel accessory container, cut a piece of the lid out, then shaped it to fit.
End result:
Not too bad - could have been a bit cleaner - but should do the trick!
And with the board on:
Looks like even more of a stocker with the OE Tippmann grips. π
Update: I used this at the Frosty's Revenge big game (last month?) and it worked great. No leaks, no hiccups, zero broken balls, and even managed to tag a few people, something I normally only accomplish with my Mini. π
I tweaked the setup a bit, just to keep the black, brass, and chrome theme going - I swapped out the rail mount CP on-off for a chrome direct mount - and I painted the "Tippmann" logo red, to have it stand out a bit. I think it's done, other than playing with dwell and pressure settings.
