My favorite CF tank is dying next year. I have 2 ideas what to do with it. I've heard of people turning them into mugs, which is one idea. I'm also thinking of using it as a Freak insert carrier. Thoughts?

At least it's getting used now. πJordan that is absolutely awesome. Such a waste of a PMI Reactor though lol.
The internals were goo and I couldn't find a rebuild kit anywhere, plus I already have three 4.5k tanks with good regs... I like the short Ninja regs on my 68cu tanks, it keeps them βββjuuust the right length on my stuff that needs the larger tanks, so I was never going to bother rebuilding and converting to 4.5k.Comment

Jordan I think I found what I'm going to do with my WGP that dies in July. May just do it now as the Bonnet now has a dent in it and eats orings. What did you do to the tank to feed the wiring? It would be interesting to put a 3 way switch on it, cut some "windows" in the tank and have a neat little night light or lamp lol.Comment

I drilled a hole in the bottom and threaded for 1/8"-27 npt - turns out that most if not all lamps use a hollow threaded rod that is essentially 1/8"-27 straight thread, so a pipe tap and drill work great.
Drilled the tank, gutted and drilled out/tapped the reg.
Really, you can do whatever your imagination can come up with.
I've seen Shocker Sports made into lamps.
