Make a piece of material that fit inside the feedneck (I turned a piece of scrap aluminum), clamp the feedneck and twist ...

The piece inside the feedneck prevent the neck from collapsing, and be careful which pliers you use if you care/want to re-use the feedneck ...

Out of curiosity, why would you need to pull one out? Was yours damaged and needed a replacement? Or some other cutsom work being done?

One of the 2 good reason (only?) reasons to pull on out ... Probably the best one ... The other is to replace it with a clamping ... But it would be a bit wired on a side feed ...
