Mech ion. Finally after 14 years

I started this project years ago. Got married had kids things got in the way stop playing paintball for about 12 years or so. Finally got back into it and I finally got all the parts together to put it together. And after shooting it for the first time it literally became one of my favorite guns I have ever owned. Maybe it’s because I Put it all together myself, or what. Doesn’t have the greatest looking body on it but, it shoots really well around 170 psi . We will see how it runs compared to my empire resurrection I just picked up

I love the mechs. They shoot great and you can jam them inside of all kinds of things. I have a long rifle I built for FSR. I've seen mag fed, stock class, you name it.

Agreed on one of the better shooters. It's super weird how it ends up like that. I've been running "son of mech Ion", the eNMEy, and I like it enough. Just not as much as all my other mech Ions.

pretty neat how the mech scene breathed new life into Ions. There are lots of upgraded ions ( aftermarket bodies, triggers, bolts, etc) kicking around on the used market for cheap, just waiting to be mech'ed!

And every mech ion built kills an emek sale, I'm sure of it!

Efficiency was not amazing but it’s shot absolutely perfect today. Played with it four hours straight.
